So many twists and turns it kept me guessing and gave truth to the saying the grass ain't always greener , when the book started I had already been hesitant about the title , but I was reading with my online book club so I gave it a chance , the characters were well explained , a bit to keep up with but necessary ( I applaud the author ) as the book when on and I turned pages I could see what would happen, and that is a great thing , I KNEW the people I knew the history , HOWEVER more Twists and turns , which was great ,, Things I figured out had even more then I imagined. The book ended on a great note , well for me not the character's .... my only resentment is I don't get paid for 2 weeks so part 2 is Elusive until then,,,,, please give this book a chance , the title will make ya think its just a whore sex book, the content will give you so much more ,, This was a great read !!!!!Product details

This was a good book even though there were some errors. I was mad at how easily Canary was at trusting someone she didn't know, as well as being manipulated. There's always the question of what if she had followed her gut. Who would've ever thought Gladeye would be the type of person he really turned out to be. The things revealed from the journals only makes me question why they stay. Even with Canary trying to get out of her situation, it still didn't work out for her. Tan got some deep rooted issues. She clearly is weird!!! The extremes she felt were necessary to get the life she wanted were too much!!! The twist at the end was crazy! I can't wait until Karma finally decides to pay her trifling, whorish ass a visit!!!
I expected this book to be a light hearted drama... boy!!!was I wrong... I read this book in one setting. It held my attention fully. This book is a dramatic, thrilling mystery!!! I have never read such sickness (mentally) in my life. I would recommend this book to any adult looking for a suspenseful, dark read. Cliffhanger, beware. I'm not satisfied with the ending....lots of questions left unanswered.
It's a good read. Hamid showed the vivid picture as well as the in-dept pain of both women and what they have endured, not to mention the thought process of the characters and how they became to be the way they are. But the reason this book is not a four or a five is because of the obvious. One, the title. It's very misleading. The title do not fit with any of the characters what so ever. The title was just a gimmick as well as the synopsis. They're both misleading which i do not like.
This my first time reading this author and definitely will not be my last... This books gives you insight into some sick twisted individuals that have a lot of emotional issues. The jealousy and the deceit and the torture that goes on in this book will have you wondering how someone could be some cruel to the person they are suppose to love. Karma is crazy and this book someone should have been careful the things that they dished out because they did not know the same stuff they dished out would ruined their very instincts.. Take a ride with Canary, Tan and Gladeye and see what snatched truly means and the things snatched will lead you to do and to be done to you...
This was one of the worst books I ever read in my life and I'm not even finished yet. I really don't even want to finish reading it but how I hate to discontinue reading a book when I'm almost finished. It has no real direction it makes no sense for the most part it's all over the place. This author needs to review his skills before putting out garbage like this I won't be wasting any more money from titles from this author. It's a little harsh and such a shame but this is an exceptionally bad book please don't waste your money!!!
This was an ok read for me. Some things in the story just happened to fast and had me confused. There were a few editing issues such as using message for massage but it wasn't anything major. I will however still purchase part two to see if any of my confusion is cleared
The Whore Next Door Is definitely a lot better than I could have ever imagined. Unlike the title says the book really a has nothing to do with being a whore and everything to do with being a lost little girl. I first it didn't seem like it would be all that good but one it picked up it was surprisingly good. I can't wait to read the sequel. I look forward to reading it. Kudos Author Hamid.
